In the 1920s, children’s fashion became more comfortable and elegant. The clothes were made of cotton, wool, lace and velvet, but not silk. During the last century, many layers were worn, but in the 20’s they wore minimal layers that became new stardust.
For girls, the clothes became loose and shorter. Dresses and skirts were now knee lengths and loose. Shoes are also made of canvas, making them lighter and easier to carry.
For boys, pants to their knees were worn all year round, and they would wear ankle socks and canvas shoes. Pullovers and sweaters were also worn when time became colder.
